Mildura – Nagambie

A change of plan on Sunday morning. I thought it would be good to catch up with my favourite ex-step-son-in-law, so I followed the mighty river some more, passed one or two very large lakes (on which families were enjoying boating – of one kind or another – as you’d expect on the first day of spring in 29 degree temps) and drove deep into the wilds of Victoria. A great afternoon, then on to Nagambie for the night… in a good motel that didn’t cost a great deal but which had a fantastic bed.

Motels have been of interesting and varied quality and cost, but the most variety has been in the quality of the mattresses. I have to say that this one will take some beating. On Monday morning the stiff neck has gone.

Onward today in a generally northerly direction…
